How to Farm the Fuel Network Airdrop 2026:
Points Program Guide

📅 June 9, 2026⏱ 10 min read⛽ Est. cost: ~$20✅ Mainnet confirmed

Fuel is the parallel EVM Layer 2 built for speed. The FUEL token launched in December 2024 — but the mainnet Points Program is still running. Earn Activity, Gas, and Passive Points now to qualify for the next distribution. This guide covers every strategy.

What is Fuel Network?

Fuel is a modular Layer 2 blockchain that uses parallel transaction execution — unlike Ethereum's sequential model, Fuel can process multiple transactions simultaneously. This gives it dramatically higher throughput without sacrificing decentralization.

Built by Fuel Labs, the network uses a custom virtual machine (FuelVM) and a language called Sway (inspired by Rust). Fuel mainnet launched in 2024 alongside the FUEL token Genesis Drop — which distributed 1 billion FUEL tokens to over 200,000 wallets.

The mainnet Points Program is still running, meaning new farmers can accumulate points today toward future FUEL distributions. Early is over — but consistent is the new early.

The 3 Point Types Explained

Activity Points
Deploy assets to DApps (liquidity, lending)
Highest value
Gas Points
Pay gas fees on Fuel mainnet
5 pts per $1 gas
Passive Points
Hold assets in Fuel wallet
1+ pt/day per $1

Activity Points are the most valuable — they reflect real engagement with the Fuel ecosystem. Gas Points reward on-chain activity directly. Passive Points are the floor — you earn them just by holding, so always keep a balance on Fuel.

Step-by-Step Farming Guide

01

Install Fuel Wallet

Get Fuel Wallet from wallet.fuel.network or Fuelet. These are the native wallets for Fuel mainnet. MetaMask doesn't support FuelVM — you need a Fuel-native wallet to interact with ecosystem dApps.

02

Bridge ETH to Fuel

Go to app.fuel.network → Bridge. Send at least 0.01 ETH from Ethereum. The official bridge tracks your activity directly. Bridging earns Gas Points immediately.

03

Provide Liquidity on Mira

Mira Exchange is Fuel's leading DEX. Add liquidity to an ETH or USDC pool. This earns Activity Points — the highest-value point category. Keep liquidity deployed for continuous accumulation.

04

Deposit into Sprk Lending

Sprk is Fuel's native lending protocol. Deposit ETH or USDC to earn yield + Activity Points simultaneously. Lending is one of the most efficient ways to farm because your capital is still working for you.

05

Trade on Mira Weekly

Swap tokens on Mira Exchange at least 2–3x per week. Each swap costs gas → earns Gas Points. Aim for $1+ in gas per week to build a strong Gas Point balance.

06

Hold Balance at All Times

Never fully withdraw. Keeping even $20 of ETH or USDC on Fuel earns Passive Points every day. Over 6 months, Passive Points add up significantly — especially for wallets that consistently hold.

Advanced Strategy Tips

Stack all three point types simultaneously. Keep ETH in a Sprk lending position (Activity Points) while also holding some ETH loose in your wallet (Passive Points) and swapping weekly on Mira (Gas Points). This triple-stacks your accumulation.

Gas efficiency matters.Fuel's gas fees are very low compared to Ethereum — you can afford to transact frequently without blowing your budget. Aim for daily small interactions: check your position, claim yield, make a small swap.

Check the official Points dashboard. Fuel Labs publishes point rankings. Track your position at app.fuel.network to see how your strategy compares and adjust accordingly.

Use multiple dApps. The breadth of your ecosystem usage matters. A wallet that has used 5+ different Fuel dApps is much stronger than one that only used Mira. Explore Thunder Exchange (NFTs), Sprk (lending), and any new protocols that launch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Fuel Network?

Fuel is a modular Layer 2 on Ethereum using parallel transaction execution for high throughput. Built by Fuel Labs with the FuelVM and Sway language. Mainnet launched 2024 with the FUEL token Genesis Drop.

Did Fuel already do an airdrop?

Yes — Genesis Drop (Dec 2024, 1B FUEL to 200K+ addresses) and Phase 2 retrodrop (Jan–Mar 2025, 150M FUEL). The mainnet Points Program is ongoing for future distributions. Start farming now for the next round.

How do Fuel Points work?

Three types: Activity Points (deploy assets to DApps), Gas Points (5 pts per $1 in gas), Passive Points (1+ pt/day per $1 held). Stack all three for maximum accumulation.

How do I bridge to Fuel?

Use the official bridge at app.fuel.network. Bridge ETH from Ethereum. The bridge records your activity directly and earns Gas Points. Third-party bridges also work but may not track as efficiently.

Is it too late to farm Fuel?

No. The Points Program is still active. Wallets that start now and farm consistently for 6+ months will build a strong position before any future snapshot. Phase 1 and 2 are done but future distributions are expected.

What DeFi apps are on Fuel mainnet?

Key apps: Mira Exchange (DEX), Sprk (lending), Thunder Exchange (NFT marketplace). Use all of them across a month to maximize Activity Points and show broad ecosystem engagement.
